The Saumur region
In the heart of the Loire Valley, classified with the world inheritance of UNESCO, the village of Cunault is neshed in a wooded valley which opens on the Loire.
The Benedictine monks in the XIIème century had chosen this enchanted site to build a superb church, a splendid vessel of white stones anchored close to fair sands. The kings and the lords loved this area and founded numerous castles and homes. While staying here, you will discover this richly built inheritance as well as the rich troglodyte inheritance of the region. The "Douceur Angevine" ( angevine softness) is not a vain word here and a glass of rosé d' Anjou will be the prelude to a very pleasant stay at Beauregard.
The manor of Beauregard is just east of Cunault on the road which follows the Loire upstream in the direction of Saumur.
